Sterilmed is recipient of Earthwards® Award
July 17, 2013 (Maple Grove, Minnesota)--Johnson & Johnson launched its Earthwards® process in 2009 to improve the company’s social and environmental impact by developing and marketing more sustainable products. There are approximately 50 Earthwards® products across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, one of which recognizes Sterilmed® reprocessed trocars for significant sustainability improvements. For a team to earn Earthwards® recognition, its product must achieve at least three significant sustainability improvements across seven goal areas. The Earthwards® process has been reviewed by a panel of sustainability experts from government, academia, business, and environmental non-profit organizations. Congressman Erik Paulsen visits Sterilmed office

April 26, 2013 (Maple Grove, Minnesota)--Practice Greenhealth, the national membership organization for healthcare facilities committed to environmentally responsible operations, has presented its 2013 "Champion for Change" Award to Sterilmed for outstanding contributions to environmentally responsible healthcare. Practice Greenhealth honored its top performers at the Environmental Excellence Awards Ceremony April 26, 2013 in Denver, Colorado in conjunction with CleanMed, the premier Global Conference on environmentally sustainable healthcare.
